Dual-Channel SEO & GEO Growth Campaign

The Challenge

Spreadshop: One of Europe’s leading print-on-demand platforms, needed to significantly expand its organic search visibility in Germany and establish a strong presence in the rapidly growing landscape of AI-driven search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and others). The goal: capture audiences shifting their search behaviour from traditional Google to AI-powered tools, and build long-term, compounding organic traffic beyond existing branded search demand.

What We Did

TRYSEO developed and executed a dual-channel strategy combining traditional SEO with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO):

•       Content expansion: new landing pages targeting high-volume, non-branded search queries

•       Technical SEO improvements: site architecture, indexability, and performance optimisations

•       Digital PR & media placements: building authoritative off-page signals across the web

•       Community seeding: targeted presence on platforms like Reddit to generate organic brand mentions and user-generated signals that AI models rely on

The Results (within approx. 5 months)

Traditional Search (SEO)

•     Taking a relaunch in Q3 2024 into account Google Search Console impressions grew by +355% year-over-year (9.12.2024–9.3.2025 vs. 9.12.2025–9.3.2026)

•       Average ranking position improved from position 23.88 (mid page 3) to 9.04 (page 1)

•       Non-branded clicks, the clearest indicator of new customer acquisition, grew by +133% (more than doubled)

•       Non-branded impressions grew by +238%, proving significantly expanded reach into non-branded queries

AI Search Visibility (GEO)

•       For our monitored competitor set the share of Voice for brand mentions across AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overviews) grew from low single digits (≈1% in October 2025) to a peak of over 30% in January 2026, stabilising at 25–27% in February 2026

Spreadshop AI visibility rise

•       Domain citations in AI-generated answers are compounding month over month across all major platforms

•       Google AI Overview citations grew to approx. 10% Share of Voice by February 2026, making Spreadshop a primary reference whenever AI answers relevant queries

The Business Value

Within approximately 5 months, Spreadshop established strong, measurable visibility in both traditional Google search and AI-powered search engines.

The results are structural and compounding. Each new piece of indexed content, each earned mention, and each AI citation builds on the previous one. This is not a one-time traffic spike, it is a sustainable, growing organic acquisition engine.

For a platform whose entire business model depends on discovery and middle and bottom-of-funnel reach, this represents a fundamental shift in long-term growth trajectory.
