Imagine you have a website that is visually and technically outdated. That’s exactly what happened to our customer Heinze Hausbau & Planung. The construction company’s old website not only had a lot of bloat, but was also based on an outdated database to manage customer inquiries.
A modern user experience? Not at all. In addition, the existing brand design should remain recognizable, but urgently be given a contemporary look.
Goal
1. redesign of the website: A fresh, appealing online presence that provides all the important information about the prefabricated houses quickly and in a modern way.
2. brand modernization: The existing brand design was to be retained, but significantly spiced up.
3. SEO goals: Especially for local keywords such as “Hausbau Magdeburg”, top 3 rankings should be achieved in order to attract new customers.
Approach
Conception & relaunch
Together with boerdehaus.de, we first designed a new layout that is not only visually convincing, but also technically clean.
The design adapts to the existing corporate identity, but sets new accents in terms of modernity and user guidance.

Database migration
During the relaunch, it was particularly important to carefully transfer the old database to the new system. This allowed us to ensure a smooth transition and retain all existing data.
Modern lead form
We have integrated a clear and user-friendly lead form to facilitate communication with potential house builders. This allows inquiries to be processed quickly and specifically in the new system.
Local SEO & content strategy
After the website relaunch, we started the local SEO campaign .
Targeted landing pages
To increase visibility in the Magdeburg region, we created targeted landing pages on the topics of “house construction” and “prefabricated houses”. Each page was SEO-optimized so that search engines and potential buyers can quickly grasp the content.
Blog with added value
In addition to the landing pages, a blog was created to provide potential customers with exciting topics relating to house building. With articles on construction financing, finding a plot or energy efficiency, we wanted to both inform and inspire – and thus attract new visitors to the website.
Optimized Google Maps profile
Google Maps is essential, especially for regional service providers. We have optimized the My Business profile so that potential customers can find the company in and around Magdeburg more easily.
Structured data & internal linking
To make the work of Google & Co. as easy as possible, we have integrated structured data and implemented a well thought-out internal linking strategy. This ensures better crawlability and indexability and boosts rankings in the long term.
Results
After around 6 months, we were able to achieve constant top 3 rankings for boerdehaus.de for important keywords such as “Hausbau Magdeburg” and similar search terms. Thanks to the blog, the number of organic visitors is continuously increasing and the new website design has been met with consistently positive feedback from interested parties.
